Go with Eslam!

I also know all the Ancient Sites that you might want to visit and those you might not have heard of.

From Memphis, via Dashur to the Grand Egyptian Museum - I am happy to plan a trip that also involves the classics - but with a twist.

  1. In Cairo: Let's do a Museum Tour of lesser frequented Museums: Manial Palace Museum, Umm Kulthum Museum, Museum of Islamic Ceramics, Gayer-Anderson Museum, The Agricultural Museum, The Textile Museum, The Geological Museum of Egypt, The Postal Museum, The Coptic Museum, Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil Museum, The Military Museum, The House of Egyptian Architecture, The Carriage Museum, The Railways Museum, Bayt Al-Suhaymi.
  2. In Cairo: Let's go to the Old Egyptian Museum on Tahir square and experience the old wooden displays that transport you into another time.
  3. In Cairo: We can also go to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is new and which is gradually opening more and more areas of the vast museum.
  4. Close to Cairo: Explore the ancient capital of Memphis and visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, followed by a walk through lesser-visited tombs and the quieter parts of the Saqqara necropolis. We could combine this with a traditional home-cooked meal at my family's place.
  5. Close to Cairo: Let's see Dashur’s Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid, and let's have a peaceful picnic in the shadow of these less-crowded monuments.
  6. Close to Cairo: Let's explore the Great Pyramids and then hike up the nearby Giza Plateau for panoramic views that are often missed by regular visitors. We could also combine this with a Bedouine visit.
  7. Close to Cairo: Visit the Pyramid of Teti and then stroll around the surrounding tombs, taking time to relax or even meditate by the nearby desert landscapes, offering a quiet, reflective experience.
  8. Let's go to the Temple of Karnak early in the morning, when the temple is still bathed in soft light, and enjoy some quiet moments in its vast courtyards.
  9. Take a boat ride across Lake Nasser to Abu Simbel, providing a scenic way to approach this monumental temple complex.
  10. Let's enjoy the Valley of the Kings, but let's choose some of the lesser-visited tombs.
  11. Pay a visit to the Temple of Hathor in Dendera, and after exploring the temple, we could relax in the nearby village to experience the local way of life.
  12. Explore the Temple of Horus at Edfu and then take a relaxing horse-drawn carriage ride around the surrounding area.
  13. Visit the Unfinished Obelisk and quarries, then take a break by the Nile to appreciate the natural beauty and tranquility of the area -  we could also combine this with a hot air balloon ride.
  14. Visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, then wander into the surrounding hills for a peaceful walk that offers stunning views of the temple and the Valley of the King
  15. Explore the Valley of the Queens and the Tomb of Nefertari, and then relax in the nearby gardens, taking in the peaceful surroundings after your visit.

When we plan a trip together you can simply name some of the options or even more ideas that you have and I can make a customized suggestion for you!
